The Business Post reported at the weekend that the government is planning the most significant cut to the controversial Universal Social Charge since its introduction

The Tánaiste and the Minister for Finance have confirmed that they are looking at cuts to the Universal Social Charge as part of a wider income tax package in Budget 2024.
