The unit has stood empty after a clothing business left.

A new business is set to move into an historic Nottingham shopping arcade unit which has been empty since the departure of a clothing company. Flying Horse Walk was home to a hotel and up to five pubs at one stage before opening its doors as a shopping centre in 1989.

Business ranging from The Cheese Shop to Vivienne Westwood are housed in the arcade, and terms have now been agreed with a new business to move in. The vacant unit was home to Pearl Boutique, a specialist ladies wear supplier which first opened in Derby. With its unit now empty, Nottingham City Council says an external agent negotiated terms on its behalf with a new tenant.

"Terms were negotiated by the external agent appointed acting on behalf of the Council which has recommended the terms for approval and which represent the market rental level." The unit was being advertised by FHP for an annual rent of £25,000.
