The main driver of the zinc market right now is the lack of quality development projects. Fireweed Metals, a Canadian mining company, has two projects in Yukon and one in Northwest Territories. Macpass is a zinc-lead-silver project, while Mactung is a tungsten project.
Fireweed has raised over $50 million in the past year and has road access to its projects.
