Pro screened the MSCI World index for stocks that have consistently risen in the second half of each year over the past decade. Stocks on the list included: AI chip designer Broadcom , the New York Stock Exchange's owner Intercontinental Exchange , IT services firm CDW Corporation , defense firm Booz Allen Hamilton , health care firm Danaher , and Canadian convenience store operator Alimentation Couche-Tard . Shares of global insurance giants W. R.

Pro's findings come after a separate analysis of the past 50 years of MSCI World index price data showed that when the index rose by more than 12% in the first six months of the year, it continued to increase over the second half 83% of the time. Since the late 1980s, when markets rose by more than 12% in the first half, they rose every time in the second half of the year.
