It aims to support and reduce discrimination and harassment when mothers feed their babies in public places.“Exclusive breastfeeding remains a cornerstone of child survival and child health because it provides essential, unique nutrition for a child’s optimal growth and cognitive development. Women who breastfeed have a reduced risk of developing chronic diseases such as breast and ovarian cancer, hypertension, and diabetes type 2.
