Skylar Celeste Boone Officials from the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce and Southeast AlabamaWorks presented two area businesses with a Business Workforce Development Champion award.
“We stopped to celebrate the accomplishments of organizations and businesses that are actively engaged in the development and education of our citizens,” said DACC Chairman Walter Hill. “Workforce development is a critical part of a growing and prosperous community, and we applaud these companies for being champions in this effort.
Southeast AlabamaWorks Executive Director Katie Thomas said it is important in these challenging workforce times to honor and recognize two local businesses that have made a difference for so many.
