PETALING JAYA:’s prospects continue to be challenging, as the conventional mail business struggles to turn around in the digital age.
“The key variance against our forecast came from its inability to contain operating expenses,” the research house said in a report yesterday.On a year-on-year basis, Pos Malaysia’s 9M24 core net loss expanded by 62%. The group’s 9M24 revenue fell marginally by 1% y-o-y with a decrease in demand for its postal and logistics services, which were offset by a stronger showing from its aviation segment.
On a quarterly basis however, Pos Malaysia’s core net loss for the third quarter of financial year 2024 was reduced by 12%.
