Basnett Street, in the city centre, will host a one-day-only artisan Christmas market. Shoppers can visit the market, located next to the retail store TK Maxx, on Saturday, November 30. This is one of four new Christmas markets confirmed by Liverpool City Council's markets team to accommodate the festive demand. The new markets are in addition to the annual Liverpool Christmas Markets at St George's Plateau which people can visit until Tuesday, December 24.
Liverpool City Council's market team will look to holding the market on a more regular basis if it is a success. The market will be available on Saturday between 10 and 6pm. Elsewhere, the much-loved farmers and craft markets at Lark Lane, Woolton Village and Allerton Road will be taking place with the usual favourite traders promoting their Christmas offerings.
