The top industry honor is bestowed by the National Association of Theatre Owners, host of the annual show in Las Vegas where Hollywood studios parade their upcoming slate before thousands of exhibitors descending upon The Strip.
The annual Marquee award recognizes individuals for their unwavering dedication, commitment and service to the motion picture theater industry, according to NATO. Cinemark, one the three largest circuits in the country alongside AMC Theatres and Regal Cinemas, is considered by Wall Street to be one of the most stable theater circuits coming out of the pandemic and labor strikes.Based in Plano, Texas, Cinemark operates more than 300 theaters in 42 states in the U.S.
