Alison Hammond is reportedly doing well for herself as she takes to the stage in Birmingham Hippodrome's pantomime production of Peter Pan for the second year in a row. Alison is portraying the show's Magical Mermaid, and is said to have 'topped the celebrity panto rich list' this year, according to The Sun.
While Vernon, who is appearing in Aladdin at Wycome's Swan Theatre, is allegedly close behind with £190,000 of earnings. Scott Mills is said to be earning the same amount for his role of Mayor Mills in Jack and The Beanstalk at Swansea Grand Theatre. Alongside pantomime, Alison is busy with her This Morning presenting gig and raising her son, Aiden. She is also in a new relationship with boyfriend David Putman, going public with the relationship earlier this year.
“Yes, I’m 22 years older than he is, but if you saw us together, you’d understand. People have said to me: ‘We get it now.’ He’s so mature and sensible, and I’m so not. And the things he says to me...they’re just so lovely. It’s like a jigsaw; we fit and it all comes together.”
