"There's a lot of obvious stuff in terms of what makes a great pitch, but I think one of the most important things is the founder's authenticity to the space," Acharya told Business Insider.
"I think both of those things can be learned, but I think as you see fintech everywhere and more non-fintech companies are playing the part, you're going to start to see this gray area between the founders." "A big part of that is having a point of view as to where things will go, but being curious when presented with new information," he said.
