[THREAD] 👇 Two Americans temporarily moved to Kuwait on March 8 and have since become stranded. Flights are prohibitively expensive, and the country has entered a 24-hour lockdown.

Klement and Linda Camaj, two Americans, temporarily moved to Kuwait on March 8.

"It was by far the most surreal thing I've ever experienced," said Linda, who said she waited in line on May 9 for six hours with her husband. They were wrong. By the time they realised they were essentially trapped, there were no available flights out. And with no local ID, they were at the back of the line for food.
