Carolyn Maloney asked companies to impose “additional screening measures” around Inauguration Day travel in Washington D.C. and across the country, as well as retain records for potential future investigations and provide the committee with documentation by Jan. 29 about what policies are in place to ensure their services are not being used for domestic terrorism.
The other companies contacted by the House Oversight Committee—including Hyatt, Marriott, Greyhound, Expedia, Hertz and Enterprise—have not yet responded to requests for comment.
