THE All-Progressives Grand Alliance has rejected calls by the All-Progressives Congress for a coalition ahead of the Anambra State Governorship election slated for November 6.

The National Coordinator of APGA National Media Warriors, Chinedu Obigwe said this in Awka, on Monday. He was responding to calls by an APC chieftain, Osita Okechukwu, for a coalition between the two parties to win the election using what he described as the “Zikist model strategy.” Okechukwu had appealed to APGA leaders to explore the model because according to him, APC can win without APGA but that the victory would be seamless with APGA going into a coalition with the APC..

Obigwe said, “APGA will not go into any merger with APC to win the November 6th governorship election because Anambra belongs to APGA.
