The Hang Seng in Hong Kong was 1.6% higher at 24,735.75.New Zealand and Southeast Asia markets rose.The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 1.1% to 35,462.78. The Nasdaq composite advanced 1.3% to 14,194.45.
