CAF Cos bought more than 2,700 rental units in partnership Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s urban investment group.

CAF Cos.' local properties include the Residences of North Dallas on Midway Road.A Frisco-based real estate company has teamed up with a unit of Goldman Sachs to purchase eight Texas apartment communities.

“We are proud to continue our partnership with CAF to preserve access to affordable housing for families in the Dallas-Fort Worth region,” Goldman Sach’s Sherry Wang said in a statement. “With the potential to expand resident services through resources like after-school child care, we have the opportunity to support the overall well being of our tenants.”Last year the two companies
