In joining Texas Capital, Ginn said he has excitement about being part of something new. He sees an opportunity to help Texas Capital grow by bringing his expertise to the bank's existing clients in the mortgage finance sector while at the same time enabling his own existing clients to access the bank's products and services.
Despite already seeing what he described as"significant disruption" in the residential mortgage sector, Ginn expects dealmaking between firms to continue next year even if the economy enters a recession. Ginn discussed his outlook for M&A including how rising interest rates are impacting valuations and the ability for companies to make deals.
