The United Kingdom lifted the 3-year ban that was put on Bain & Company for their involvement in the state capture corruption scandal in South Africa.

JOHANNESBURG - Former United Kingdom Cabinet Minister Lord Peter Hain on Wednesday urged lawmakers to keep a close eye on global consultancy firm Bain & Company for their involvement in state capture activities.

Bain & Company was banned from bidding for State work after the Zondo commission revealed that it had played a major role in the state capture corruption scandal in South Africa.
