The export project forms part of the port’s efforts to change the economic trajectory of Transnet. Transnet Port Terminal CEO, Jabu Mdaki, says they are expect to export more than one million tons of manganese a year.
“The importance of running this corridor, it complements other corridors that we already have that we can be able to take advantage in terms of the demand that is out there for manganese.
