Stock market ends mostly lower as Sino-American trade worries keeps Wall Street buying appetite in check

U.S. stocks edged mostly lower Thursday as declines in communications services, materials and materials offset gains in financials and technology. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +0.03% however, managed to eke out a modest gain, rising by about 7 points, or less than 0.1%, to finish at 25,710, as a decline in Boeing Co.
