Footage circulating online showed people running and trying to kick in the doors of the Todd Tavern about 3.30pm that day, with one person seen throwing a rock at the window. So we will have a bigger presence on the streets. I’m told the youth services last night, they haven’t seen the youth services so busy last night out on the streets.

"We can’t risk it for the town’s future, we can’t risk it for the safety of these youth and the future of these youth.Mr Clark suggested the curfew may have to remain in place for some time to maintain safety for the town's residents. "If we need there 58 police here full time, and we need a full-time curfew to actually keep these kids safe, keep this community safe, let's do it - why not?"
