This is the first week that Eskom has not implemented load shedding, following several days of Stage 4 load shedding, which was also prompted, in part, by Cyclone Idai in Mozambique. At the time, the power shortage was so critical that Eskom continued to implement Stage 2 load shedding during the night.
Hadebe did, however, acknowledge that when he and the new Eskom board first took over some 12 months ago, they should have prioritised maintenance then. Fin24 These are companies that have been accredited and certified by Eskom ? Maybe the way they approve suppliers should be changed ? It’s a major problem if you are are relying on your suppliers to actually be paying you..........

Fin24 At all these companies, I feel for the workers who will probably lose their jobs because of corrupt bosses who are living on a monthly income higher than your yearly salary and fires you because the company has to pay backup for ESKOM's and their back-handed corrupt dealings! 😡
