First-ever Goosnargh Farmers Market food festival to showcase best of local produce

Revealed: The cost of Preston Guild Hall standing empty and the path to re-openingThe first-ever Goosnargh Farmers Market food festival will take place next weekend.

One of the group, Alex, told Blog Preston: “We recognise the importance of supporting local sources and providing high-quality products, and are dedicated to sustainability.“The festival will be a celebration of the best that our local farmers and producers have to offer, giving them a platform to sell their goods directly to consumers.

“Our events are designed to foster community spirit and create a vibrant hub for Goosnargh and beyond. We aim to bring people together and celebrate our local foodies. Goosnargh Farmers Market Food Festival will take place at Whittingham and Goosnargh Sports & Social Club on Saturday 17 August from 9am to 4pm., which unlocked support from the Lancashire Culture and Sport Fund provided by Lancashire County Council.
