From September 19-22, and for the first time in DC, our parking lot at the Market will be transformed into an electrifying outdoor racetrack.

The weekend will be packed with go-karting excitement for all ages , from seasoned racers to complete beginners. Each 15-minute race will accommodate six drivers, making every race a thrilling and enjoyable shared experience, perfect for making memories with family and friends. But it’s not just about the speed; groove to live music, enjoy awesome entertainment and dig into a variety of delicious food and beverage from Union Market District’s favorite restaurants and bars.

With programs designed to train aspiring racers, K1 Speed provides a pathway for enthusiasts who dream of becoming professional racers, including those aiming for the pinnacle of motorsport, Formula 1.The Trawick Prize: Bethesda Contemporary Art Awards 2024 finalists will have their work displayed at Gallery B from September 5-29, 2024.
