Provincial Commissioner Lt Gen Mthombeni led yet another successful multidisciplinary high-density Operation Shanela earlier tonight on the Golden Highway, Orange Farm where at a roadblock, a hijacked vehicle was recovered, two unlicensed firearms recovered with three suspects aged between 30 and 40 arrested.Limpopo Police Commissioner Thembi Hadebe has warned residents against trying to shut down the Boabab toll plaza on the N1 near Musina.

He says, “According to the poster doing the rounds on various social media platforms, a group of community members from Niani village in Masisi policing area under Vhembe district, has mobilized to protest against high incidents of theft of vehicles, hi-jackings, and smuggling of vehicles into neighbouring countries through the Beitbridge port of entry.
