Legislation to create a public health-insurance option in Connecticut is off the table after an outcry from private insurers.

CT should not renew their license to market in the state. That should get their attention.

But of course. Why would they want to lose share? Raises rates for everyone else. This is why you either go all in on government healthcare, or legislate price controls to keep private insurers in business and prevent individuals from going bankrupt.
