A catering company in Malacca, Juq Kitchen (@juqkitchen), shared a story on TikTok about a family who had to cancel their wedding. According to Juq Kitchen, the groom's family called off the engagement, forcing the cancellation of the wedding, which was scheduled to take place two weeks later. The customer informed Juq Kitchen about the cancellation and requested a refund.

The catering company expressed their sympathy and stated that they would return the full payment, including the deposit, for the canceled wedding package. They also mentioned that they hadn't yet purchased any ingredients for the catering and were able to process the full refund
