Climate change affects millions of people across the globe. The impact of extreme weather events is evident, the landscape is also changing in Africa.
Droughts, heat stress and flooding have led to a reduction in crop yields and livestock productivity. Rainfall over large parts of Africa has decreased drastically. Over the past 25 years, the number of weather-related disasters, such as floods and droughts, has doubled.More than 100 delegates from nine countries gathered in Jeffreys Bay for the international climate change workshop.
