The Transport Ministry is working with the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry to monitor and ensure child restraint seats in the market are in accordance with the necessary safety standards.
Loke said this after launching the national-level Road Safety Campaign and Integrated Ops in conjunction with the Chinese New Year at the Tapah Rest and Recreation area today. Loke said for the moment, the government had no plans to extend the mandatory use of child safety seats to other types of vehicles.
U can take action on companies y not u also take action on companies who give load to heavy vehicles to load more heavy y no action yet ?
They should not be allowed to come into the country.
Great to see this anthonyloke Long overdue & critical. But remember that a child sitting in a old (pre 2020 purchased) car seat that is unsafe, is at more risk of injury during a crash.
Shd nip it in the bud, why not stop them from importing? Eg recon car with heavy tinting, why fine the buyer & why not stop the importer in the first place?
One question..How I know who selling unapproved child safety seat? Or How do I know that the safety seat does not fit the requirement
