Eskom, Nersa fight it out in court over tariffs

The Mineral Resources Council says it is important that the industry generates has its own source of reliable electricity. Henk Langenhoven, from the MRC said,"the companies went one by one to the Energy Minister but now there's a group effort as a result of the unreliability." Langenhoven explained how allowing the companies to provide energy for themselves would ease the load on the national grid.

"The mining sector, because it's such a big user...you can locate it in a specific area, it's the easiest way and quickest to get rid of a big amount of power."

Smart move!

Do not seek. JUST DO!!!

Permission granted, now go. Next...?

You got my permission

That's a good move, possible eskom can be at ease with their lokshin bioskop

We should as a country have a vote on this one ..permission granted from me 1st vote in

Why ask atleast this would eleviate load sheding tremendously..just means less moolas for eskom

That they have to ask tells you how socialist this country is.

Good

As long as it is not an extension of IPPs.........

This option does not afford comrades looting opportunity, hence it is not popular with the stealing revolutionaries.

This will make a nice little dent in that gravy train - lets see the response....Who controls/measures the environmental factors. Nobody for Eskom so....

MYANC grant them jobs will be created... (IPPs)

Zambia does this..
