The Parliamentary Committee tasked with amending Section 25 of the Constitution holds a public consultation at Tsolo in the Eastern Cape.
“Section 25 does allow the expropriation of land without compensation. We want people to own land because now the government seeks to take the land and loot more that is why we are opposed to this draft bill.”“We are here to deal with the drafting of Section 25. All of them are saying that we need to draft the constitution such that it is able to respond to the majority.
