Businesses are being caught out, lacking the cover they thought they had. The whole sector needs a rethink, says business journalist Josie Cox

AHAHAHhHhahahahAHAHA

Really shambolic. This industry should be overhauled.

Who knew?

How could an insurer at point of sale in say June 2019 underwrite a new communicable disease like Covid-19? Simple answer, without crystal ball they can’t. Ill thought out article designed to appeal to masses and look for scapegoats.

UK is a shit hole.

Why it's about clousure/non-clousure, why freezing measures can't be used? Postpone payments, fees, dues for 3 months...

CraoibhRua Shambles dont you mean crooked They will do everything in there power not to pay out A disgrace of an industry

Has it really ? 🤡 It's more likely that it has exposed thousands of business owners who didn't read the agreements or assumed events were covered when they were not. And even more who thought they would save a few bob by cutting corners.

Shambles? Is that a posh word for racket?

Who knew? 👍👍👍
