President Cyril Ramaphosa has officially released the repatriates from a two-week quarantine period at a hotel near Polokwane.

Meanwhile, Free State Health MEC Montsheng Tsiu says she is confident that the students will help the country’s economy grow. Professor Helen Rees of the South African Health Products Authority says they are monitoring countries like China on the experiences they’ve had with corona virus. “As you know many people don’t have severe symptoms and that’s part of the problem, majority of people won’t be very ill. The virus might hide away or as we’ve seen in China it could get reimported into the country then we will get a second wave,” explains Rees.President Cyril Ramaphosa says government will in the next coming days roll out a screening, testing, tracing and medical management programme.
