Employees at a Tyson plant in Independence, Iowa, say they're fearful and on edge after a colleague died from complications of Covid-19.
They work in an industry few realize has been deemed essential by the federal government: the pet food industry. Plant workers tell CNN Business they don't feel properly protected from the virus. The company temporarily shut down two other plants in the state earlier this month due to concerns about the spread of coronavirus. Tyson says the Independence plant, which employs nearly 250 people, is critical infrastructure and essential to the nation's food supply.
It’s not essential until all them city dogs start dying. Then the kennels have mass deaths from no dog food lol. Rural areas always gna be able to fend for themselves.

The constant and comprehensive twisting of facts is unhelpful, dishonest, and ultimately harmful. All of this is being recorded and when the dust settles it is hard to imagine how the network will survive. I imagine Ted Turner must be very disappointed and even embarassed.

If the employees practice good hygiene, don’t touch their faces, use sick days if they feel sick, and don’t spit at each other, they won’t catch it. They can purchase masks and gave shields like the rest of us and wear them to work.
