Group of 500 companies ‘has government assurances’ that travel corridors will be in place by end of June, but is demanding an official statement to save operators from going bust

Quash Quarantine, a group of more than 500 companies, says it has received private assurances from senior government sources that travel corridors will be in place from 29 June. The group, which has been campaigning to overturn the 14-day quarantine rule that came into force in the UK on 8 June, is pressing for the assurance to be made public.
