Mayor Carmelo Lazatin has ordered the temporary shutdown of the Pampang public market starting after a vendor there died of the COVID-19. | ttorejasINQ

The vendor, a 21-year-old man from Barangay Pampang, had diabetes, according to Dr. Froilan Canlas, Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center officer-in-charge.Lazatin also ordered the rapid testing on all stall owners and vendors in the market, and its disinfection.

An intensive contact tracing was also done to prevent the spread of the disease, he said in a statement.
