– The town’s public market and adjacent streets have been closed for four days now after the local government placed the area on total lock down until July 26.

Since the market’s temporary closure on July 21, the local government has subjected the vendors and stall owners to rapid diagnostic testing as part of its Expanded and Targeted COVID-19 Testing program of the municipal government. “Before the entire public market was closed, we just initially closed certain sections of the market where the infected vendors were working.
