This will just encourage the greedy Directors of the big companies to increase their salaries & bonuses. It won’t be reinvested in machinery. Who’s going to buy this stuff as the Tory’s have negotiated no trade deals

Hehehehehe! To serve which markets? Fervent hope is a strategy of sorts, I suppose. Interesting.

That’s the spirit. Hurray!

Yes, then get all the money back by taking it from the thousands of poverty stricken families, those on UC and tax credits! How do you sleep at night? It's easy in your ivory tower isn't it? You want to get out and walked down the streets of the people you are taking money from!

UKHospKate Big business.. it’s the small business that employs more. Grand a every 3 weeks while closed is a pisstake

We need to badly. Design and produce our own

and so the cycle of tax cuts necessitating spending cuts - necessitating more tax cuts when said money doesn't stimulate the economy - necessitating more spending cuts and so on until the right achieves its dream of no state

Magic money tree?

Damage done by Boris and his cabinet you mean for a flu that Sweden has proved that lockdowns and mask wearing is not the correct response 🙈

Where is all this money coming from.

We need massive tax cuts across the board. More and higher taxes, which many advocate now, is moronic.

As a Conservative I'm starting to think he's not too good at maths. P*****g money and not taking any in just doesn't add up...

Yay! Factory jobs for the millions of service industry workers who will be unemployed when furlough ends. SocialProgress

EUVoteLeave23rd It’s Tax cuts increasing foreign and domestic investment in the UK which will work the economy back to a safe place not Tax increases. Hope Sunak’s got the message

rishisunak is our man!

Fair play. This is exactly what U.K. needs after we are have ditched the deadweight of the EU

PatWilliams1944 If this is true it will bring companies here from abroad as well as help our own factories etc let’s hope it’s true

BrexitStewart Nothing for small business, again, I bet.

Good idea.

Excellent news! We need to boost our manufacturing. What will also be great is an incentive for companies to move their manufacturing away from China back to the UK.

And Brexit.

RuleBrexitannia As good old Punch would say “That’s the way to do it”

Great idea

Errrrm damage from lockdown.

Magic money 🌲 x 10

But what will that new plant build? We're a service economy so unless we're forging swords for ISIS or wrought iron gates to protect us from HMRC baliffs whilst we all selectively and limit the tax we pay, I can't see how this will work

Covid19 didnt do the damage. The government fearmongering and economic shutdown did.

Old & tired playbooks - time for a big change

introduce full expensing completely

GOOD JOB

Yes please. No socialism thanks.

Sounds expensive.

It's not a tax cut is it, it's an offset of the depreciation of an asset. This doesn't make funds available to spend on equipment.

And the poor left to bear the brunt.... 😏 Typical

*wrought by the government’s response to COVID-19 👍

Because of course they will and it won’t simply end up in bonuses and dividends

Meanwhike ExcludedUK left to wither and die.

MatthewPWoods Of course he would. Tory hedge fund manager giving tax cuts to the rich

Of course he is. Sigh. The far right are using their own chaos to sell Britain down the river.
