A newly built handwashing facility was inaugurated at a public market in San Juan City on Friday to provide market goers more access to hand sanitation facilities amid the pandemic.

Mayor Francis Zamora said the local government partnered with Manila Water Company Inc. for the construction of the three-faucet hand-hygiene facility at Agora Market.

“We all know that half the battle is already won if we continue to follow health and safety protocols like frequent handwashing. So I urge all San Juaneños to never forget to wash your hands regularly,” Zamora said.
