Restaurant and Catering Industry Association CEO Wes Lambert has called for a voucher system to be implemented by the states and federal government.

Mr Lambert says the voucher system would be similar to the one rolled out by New South Wales which offered a $100 voucher which could be redeemed in $25 increments for arts and entertainment, and restaurants.

“That’s a half a billion dollar stimulus package which we expect to bring in a billion to a billion and a half to both the arts and entertainment and restaurant industries,” he told Sky News host Chris Smith. “We would like the same system to be rolled out in every state and territory.”

But isn’t this; 1) money that we don’t have ? 2) Increasing the debt and deficit disaster ? 3) kicking the can down the road ? 4) A govt not living within its means ? All Liberal rhetoric of the last 13 years has been destroyed.

Oh?

Yeh. Why not. Tax me again to pay for someone else's free lunch. You know there is no such thing.

Scumos voucher !

Well, that worked out really well for the UK huh?
