The state governments spent $2.8B in one year to send 4.5M tonnes of waste overseas 2018-2019, WHY the hell not build your recycling plants over here with that $2.8B brainless 🤦🤦

Tell that BS to residents in Hume City who have repeatedly suffered toxic fumes from myriad “recyclers” in the shire who stockpile instead of recycling and thereby cause massive fires. Tullamarine toxic waste dump. Bulla toxic soil dump. Etc etc.

They've worked out how to recycle the plastic that oil companies lied about being recyclable?

Crushing glass uses a lot of power. Using plastic in roadbase will lead to microplastics in waterways as the roads abrade. We need better solutions.

They need to stop with the fake recycling and focus on what people actually think happens. Introduce proper bottle reuse schemes, not just crushing the glass up to pour in to roads (if lucky). What is the government actually doing to consume the output of the recycling process?
