Company manager loses RM512,000 in purchase of non-existent bauxite AP

A COMPANY manager has lodged a police report claiming to have lost RM512,000 after being deceived into buying an approved permit for bauxite which actually did not exist.

Pahang Commercial Criminal Investigation Department head Supt Mohd Wazir Mohd Yusof said the victim, aged 52, claimed that he and three partners befriended a man in early 2017 who claimed to be able to get them an AP for bauxite from Kuantan.
