AUSTIN, TX—Providing workers with an opportunity for some lighthearted fun, the human resources department of local ad agency Milner-Ferraro reportedly improved company morale by giving employees a constant stream of dumbass bullshit to mock, sources confirmed Friday.

“It can be a bit of a grind here sometimes, so it’s nice to have HR reps that are committed to team-building by sending out unbelievably idiotic, typo-riddled messages that we can all rip on together,” said development lead Terry Moss, citing such initiatives as making obvious factual mistakes, misspelling company members’ names, and accidentally sending out personal information onto public channels as just a few of the ridiculous actions that helped bring his team together.

So good.

This is literally how the company I work for is like

Haha, so true.

Nothing unites a team like shared hatred

It's all fun & games until they take away the breakroom coffee.

Too real.

Okay rude

This could've been an email

HR once told us that losing a thumb is not a life threatening emergency. Make an appointment instead of going to the ER to save money.

Is it funny it 'improves' moral as supposed to? ... Well anyway

Man, HR is like its own little cult

HR are just firms Gestapo, hiding behind the persona they care about employees. Simply they do their Bosses bidding. You understand this and you will be in a better place. It is also from my personal experience a very gender biased environment.

The washingtonpost apparently tried that but screwed it up.

Must work for the federal government.

This is true.

Onion said, 'HR Improves Company Morale By Giving Employees Constant Stream Of Dumbass Bullshit To Mock?' Thinking to myself: 'If you change HR to HS (high school, mine, where I taught 34 yrs), this title is not Onion material, it is just basic reality.'(=🤡💩)

So true. My company recently asked us to declare our gender identity and preferred pronouns. LMFAO 🤣

Funny!

Finally. I was so tired of inventing my own dumbass bullshit to mock.

No! They wouldn't....DARE YA! Lol ouch

Amirite mhassan24? Lolol JELee533 jokes hilarious libsoftiktok

The CEO with 7 figure job, GOP hypocrisy, and now HR bullshit. The Onion’s out here dropping truth. This isn’t even satire.

🤣🤣🤣

Damn, onion.

Are you sure that is satire?

HR struggles to eek out their own existence in fear of employees discovering that HR could be replaced by a door stop.

There has never been an HR department which added value beyond processing invoices

I worked at a place that sent an email to all staff saying don't refer to bullet points as such, too violent, refer to them as 'happy points.' True story. 🙃

When head office started saying 'we're not just a company, we're a family' I knew that it was time to start handing out applications like a madman to get out of there before everything completely went to hell.

They brought in a speaker who told us that wearing comfortable shoes to work and then changing into dress shoes at your desk could be a 'career-limiting move' if you're, say, spotted by an executive in the elevator

It’s funny until you find out HR doesn’t know who anyone is (who they helped hire) and gives 95% of the bonus money to the few people they like.

Wait, that's supposed to be a joke? Seen it happen all too often, myself..
