n April 2017, Press Secretary Sean Spicer took the podium in the White House briefing room and announced that the president was donating his first-quarter salary to the National Park Service. With a serious look on his face, Spicer pulled out an oversized check with an oversized signature. It was the first of several checks that Donald Trump signed while in office, handing over his $400,000 salary in exchange for good publicity.
The biggest portion of Trump’s revenue flowed through his clubs and golf properties, which generated approximately $940 million over four years. Trump National Doral, the golf resort in Miami, contributed roughly $270 million to that total. Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s club in Palm Beach, brought in about $90 million. A New Jersey golf club, where the former president has been spending time this summer, took in $60 million or so. Those top-line figures didn’t all end up in Trump’s pocket, however.
The only person to monetize the office...by illicit means as well.
Comparing gross revenue to donations extremely misleading.
I wonder just how much of that money came from American tax payers? (I think we may have been conned).
Now do a real article on Pelosi's finances- or Biden's or Kamala's. Also, one does not 'haul in' money- people and companies earn it by selling products or spaces others want to buy or rent. Seems like another inflammatory headline.
