Pharmacy sourced Covid test kits from unapproved company, says domestic trade ministry

The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry found that a drug store in Terengganu got their supply of Covid-19 self-test kits from an unauthorised company. – The Malaysian Insight pic, August 7, 2021.

A PHARMACY in Terengganu that sold Covid-19 self-test kits for RM60 per unit had obtained their supplies from a company in Pahang that was not authorised to sell and distribute the test kits, investigations showed. The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry conducted an inspection on the pharmacy after receiving complaints from users of the Covid-19 self-test kits.
