A driver of a company in Ogun State, Oluwaseyi Oyetunde, has been arrested alongside two others for allegedly absconding with goods worth N4.7 million

The police in Ogun said they were arrested in connection with the diversion of goods belonging to one Hayat Kimya Company.

Ayodeji had reported to the police that Oyetunde loaded the goods meant to be delivered to a Lagos customer, but “since the 24th of August, 2021, the said driver has absconded with the goods and the truck.” Oyeyemi said, “The team embarked on an intelligence-based investigation and traced the driver and the truck to Lagos State where he was promptly arrested with the empty truck.”
