DrDemography Is the same business lobby willing to fund the infrastructure and environmental reform to manage the growth? No doubt they are on board for modest tax increases to help offset the infrastructure and housing demand.

Do employers invest in training Australians or do they just buy migrants ?

The same chamber of commerce and industry that argued against every minimum wage hike and against the carbon tax now claims to want high migration...in the national interest. Wish we had you on board to fight this con job Liz.

Make Aussies we have here learn the skills & work. Make relocation 4 work easier 4 all, especially those on welfare. More social housing across the country would B a good start. Migration seems 2 cause so many problems as evidenced by recalcitrance of ethnic groups during Covid.

No severe skill shortage if rise the pay.

'We've recognised that wages are far lower than they should be so please please please import workers!' says the business lobby.
