KUALA LUMPUR, March 3 ― 1Malaysia Development Bhd -related funds which have been successfully recovered as of January 31, 2022, amount to RM19.14 billion, the Finance Ministry said.
It noted that most of the funds were acquired from five main sources, including US$1.23 billion from the United States Department of Justice and US$2.5 billion from US investment bank Goldman Sachs as part of the settlement finalised in July 2020 and credited in September 2020.
