Two Chinese nationals who allegedly stole P2-million from the business process outsourcing company they were working for were arrested by members of the Pasig City Police Station in Pasig City.

Two Chinese nationals who allegedly stole P2-million from the business process outsourcing company they were working for were arrested by members of the Pasig City Police Station in Pasig City on Thursday, March 3.

Col. Roman C. Arugay, chief of police of the Pasig City Police Station , identified the suspects as Zhengbin Liu, 25, and Zi Chen Wang, 25; both residents of Barangay Bel-air, Makati City. They were arrested at around 4:30 a.m. inside a building near the St. Lucia LRT Station, Marcos Highway, Barangay Dela Paz.

According to Col. Arugay’s report, Liu and Wang, who were hired as encoders in the company, accessed the company fund and allegedly transferred P2,100,000 worth of petty cash through an online scheme. The complainant, Alili Tan, who is a secretary in the company, reported to the security guard that their on-hand petty cash worth P10,000 was also stolen.The suspects are now in the custody of the Pasig Police Sub-Station 8 and are facing qualified theft charges.
