, which are in turn expected to unlock huge economic value and competitive advantage. “There is not a single entrepreneur here, or large company, who can do what they do without semiconductors,” Raimondo said.

The Biden administration has signaled an intent to bolster the domestic chip industry. We should have NEVER have left it. Free markets for free idiots.

As a chip designer who lived through chip manufacturing moving overseas (& all of the changes that came with it) unless someone can clearly address the reasons it moved overseas in the first place (cost, environmental concerns/regulation, agility, etc) not seeing it coming back.

No shit, the selfish “elites” in western countries have been selling out our security & prosperity to shareholders & foreigners for decades. They have failed the people, & need to be investigated. If war happens, their families should be sent to front lines!

Tell this to apple!!!
